Day 4

Daily painting is quite a challenge, but doing more than one a day helps take the pressure off. Carousel horses remind me of a carefree childhood and the joy of being alive. Riding real horses is even more fun, but this carousel horse won't buck me off!

Day 2

Painting my favorite subject is very fulfilling, but keeping the canvas size small is a challenge. I love to paint large scale with large brushes. These canvases are 5 x 7  or 8 x 10 inches.

The monotony of everyday obligations can feel like a merry-go-round. But, just like in the movie Mary Poppins, it can be so much fun if you sing a song and enjoy the ride.
