Shoveling snow delves into our psyche. We are outside in the freezing weather and our mind drifts into another state of being. Our body exerts itself and our mind tries to find meaning in it all. As I broke the ice and lifted snow away from my driveway, I was made aware of how God must feel when He is trying to mold us into what He wants us to be and we are resistant. The trials we go through are for a purpose and will make us the better if we allow them to work in our lives. Through the trials we are made stronger and molded into the image God is working in our lives.
We must stay in tune with our bodies, our minds, but most importantly, in tune with our God who is preparing us for a better home (without snow!).

"Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:9-10
